Hello Friends of The Lamb of God School,
This past July I visited a Christian ministry for orphans in Uganda, where they are raising nearly 1500 poor children without parents. Their facilities are extremely limited—classrooms with one light bulb, crude dormitories with no indoor plumbing, a diet of mostly cornbread and beans. But despite these disadvantages, they are filled with joy! They call their students “champions,” and they call their school Blessed Hope Academy. What touched me most was their overriding trust in the Lord to provide for their needs. They know how much God loves their children, and they believe He is on their side.
My experience in Uganda inspired this year’s theme at The Lamb of God School: “Serve the Lord with gladness . . . for the Lord is good and his steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 100:2,5). Though we are not poor, we have many needs, but we trust the Lord to provide for us. Why? Because we are convinced that our school belongs to Him and He wants us to succeed. He never fails to send us good families, good teachers, and generous donors. His steadfast love fills us with gladness and gives us the confidence to press on amidst our challenges.
As everyone knows, inflation has driven up the cost of everything. This year, the cost of educating one student at Lamb of God is over $11,000, but we have kept our tuition below $10,000, and that is only for the first child in the family, with increasing discounts for the rest. And our kindergarten tuition is much lower. So tuition alone cannot cover the basic costs of running the school or enable us to improve our facilities. But we trust God to provide. We just have to ask for help.
That’s where you come in. We need the support of our generous friends. Have you come to believe that The Lamb of God School is an important part of God’s plan for this part of the world? Has God blessed you with the ability to support a Christian ministry like ours? Is He calling you to join us in our mission of helping parents to raise a generation of faith-filled young men and women?
If you believe in our mission and want to see it continue and grow stronger, we would be most grateful for your generous financial support. Any amount you can give—large or small—will be deeply appreciated. Your investment will go directly toward meeting the needs of our students.
Donating to our school is easy. You can donate online by clicking the link below. And remember—your contribution is 100% tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. May the Lord bless you and provide for all your needs. And may we all serve the Lord with gladness!
Sincerely yours in Christ,
John Messina
